The groups accusations, culled from a National Priorities organization analysis of the cost of the war, purports that taxpayers in the 11th Congressional District spent $974 million on Iraq.

The men and women of our Armed Services have performed exceptionally in Iraq and I will continue to support them as they complete their mission, he said in a statement. Withdrawing prematurely from Iraq would be a disaster.
