ALBANY _ A 23-year-old Richmond resident has been arrested on two felony charges in connection with an altercation at Albany Bowl Monday night that ended in the shooting of a bowler.

Albany police identified the suspect as Terrell Franklin. He will be charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder, Albany Police Lt. Lt. Daniel Adams said.

Police are still working to identify a second armed suspect who was involved in the dispute moments before the shooting, Adams said.

The victim, who is 26, was listed in stable condition at Highland Hospital. The gunshot fired from a large caliber handgun broke his leg, police said.

Franklin surrendered to police Tuesday afternoon, Adams said.
