MONDAY, Oct. 29 UNWANTED WORK -- A woman on Talbot Avenue reported at 6 p.m. that a man was mowing her lawn and asking for money. Officers contacted the man issued a warning. ROBBERY -- At 11 p.m. a caller reported being robbed on Pierce Street by two men. There were no weapons and were last seen departing north on Pierce Street.
TUESDAY, Oct. 30 DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of San Pablo Avenue At 2 a.m. for a vehicle code violation. They arrested the driver, an El Sobrante woman, for suspicion of two counts of DUI. She was transported to North County Jail. VANDALISM -- During the night thieves smashed a window of Max's Liquors on San Pablo Avenue and stole items.
WEDNESDAY, Oct. 31 DUI -- At 2:30 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near San Pablo Avenue and Carlson Avenue and arrested the driver, a Richmond woman, for suspicion of DUI. AUTO THEFT -- A vehicle was stolen overnight on Kains Avenue. THEFT -- Items were stolen overnight from a truck parked in a driveway on Talbot Avenue. STRONG-ARM ROBBERY -- At 8 a.m. a woman reported that her black beach cruiser bike and purse were stolen by a man in his 50s while she was at the Waterfront Park at the end of Buchanan Street. East Bay Regional Park police were notified. SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY -- Security at the Target Store on Eastshore reported at 10:30 a.m. that people were trying to return $1,000 in CDs and DVDs bought at the Emeryville store that day, possibly using counterfeit money. Officers offered assistance. UNUSUAL ACTIVITY -- During the early evening hours there were numerous reports from various parts of Albany about goblins, princesses, zombies, power rangers, pirates and kitty cats roaming the streets and knocking on doors. There were too many reports for officers to respond. AUTO THEFT -- A car was stolen on Brighton Avenue.
THURSDAY, Nov. 1 DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- At 1 a.m. officers contacted a person in the 700 block of San Pablo Avenue when they observed him urinating in public. They determined the Pinole man was intoxicated and arrested him for suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrested. DISORDERLY CONDUCT -- Officers contacted a man when they observed him arguing with security guards at 2 a.m. outside of Club Mallard. He was found to be intoxicated and had lacerations on his hands. He was cited for disorderly conduct and using offensive language and taken to a hospital. DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near Taylor Street and Buchanan Avenue for a vehicle code violation and arrested the driver, an Alameda man, for suspicion of two counts of DUI and for driving without a license.
FRIDAY, Nov. 2 DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle near San Pablo and Marin avenues for a vehicle code violation and arrested the driver, a San Ramon woman, for suspicion of two counts of DUI. VANDALISM -- At noon an Adams Street resident reported that a neighbor ran across the hood of the caller's vehicle, denting the hood. AUTO THEFT -- A vehicle was stolen overnight near Portland Avenue and Key Route Boulevard. WARRANT -- At 2 p.m. officers received reports of a person behaving aggressively at the Ivy Room in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue. They arrested the transient man in the 1100 block of Solano for an outstanding $5,000 warrant.
SATURDAY, Nov. 3 WARRANT -- Officers arrested a La Crescenta man at 12:30 a.m. in the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue for an outstanding $30,000 Glendale warrant for vandalism. INDECENT EXPOSURE -- At 3:30 p.m. security at Gateview Apartments on Pierce Street reported that a person was swimming nude in the complex pool. Security noted that the person has been admonished about this in the past. BURGLARY -- Officers are investigating a report of a burglary on Talbot Avenue at 4 p.m. THEFT -- At 5 p.m. officers responded to the Target Store on Eastshore on reports that a person had just stolen items and was last seen heading south toward Gilman Avenue. Officers located the Richmond man and arrested him for suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools. ROBBERY -- At 6 p.m. officers received a report that Jay Vee Liquors had just been robbed by three men.
SUNDAY, Nov. 4 DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers arrested a Hercules man on the 700 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of DUI. ASSISTANCE -- At 9:30 a.m. a caller reported dropping keys in a storm drain near Solano and Kains avenues. Officers assisted in retrieving them. DRUGS -- Officers received a call at 10:30 p.m. regarding teenagers acting suspiciously on the Cornell School playground. Officers arrested a 20-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of possession of drugs for sale.
MONDAY, Nov. 5 DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers stopped a car in the 700 block of Jackson Street for a vehicle code violation and arrested the driver, an Albany man, for suspicion of two counts of DUI.
