THURSDAY, DEC. 20

  • SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE -- At 4:47 a.m., a caller from the 400 block of Monti Circle reported finding a steak knife in the windshield of a vehicle.

  • BURGLARY BUSINESS -- A business in the 2000 block of Pleasant Hill Road was reported burglarized at 5:56 a.m.

  • BURGLARY BUSINESS -- At 8:35 a.m., a caller reported that a storage shed at a business in the 700 block of Ellinwood Way was burglarized. Two other businesses near Contra Costa Boulevard and Ellinwood Drive were reported burglarized at 8:49 a.m. and 9:32 a.m.

  • MALICIOUS MISCHIEF -- At 3:18 p.m., a caller reported finding what appeared to be a bullet hole in a window of a business in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard.

  • THEFT -- At 4:08 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at a business in the 2300 block of Monument Boulevard.

  • BURGLARY RESIDENCE -- A caller reported theft from a residence in the 300 block of Camelback Road at 7:18 p.m.

  • BURGLARY AUTO -- A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard at 10:30 p.m.

  • DUI -- At 10:51 p.m., a 43-year-old woman was arrested at Interstate 680 and Gregory Lane on suspicion of driving under the influence.
