The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police Dec. 31-Jan. 5, according to information provided by the Police Department.

Dec. 31

  • License violation: At 3:35 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on East Country Club Drive was arrested for driving with a suspended license due to a prior DUI conviction.

  • Burglary: At 10:07 a.m. it was reported a business was burglarized on Sand Creek Road. Entry was made through an unsecured door. Take was a safe containing $6,000.

  • Drugs: At 10:56 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation was arrested for suspected methamphetamine possession on Brentwood Boulevard. A passenger was also arrested.

    Jan. 1

  • Assault: At 1:27 a.m. a female was punched in the face by an unknown person causing her to drop a wallet. Subject took the wallet and fled the scene. Victim declined medical attention.

  • Burglary: At 11:24 a.m. a vehicle was reported burglarized on Country Glen Lane. Several items were stolen.

  • Drugs: At 7:24 p.m. officers responded to Bountiful Way where a resident turned over a package containing suspected marijuana received in a mail delivery.

    Jan. 2

  • Burglary: At 8:33 a.m. a storage unit was reported burglarized at a residence on Brentwood Boulevard. Take was approximately $6,000 worth of power tools.

  • Malicious vandalism: At 10:50 a.m. it was reported play structures were vandalized at a location on Redhaven Street.

  • Theft: At 7:28 p.m. a male brought an empty car seat into a business on Lone Tree Way using it to conceal a stolen digital camera. Subject was arrested for theft and an outstanding warrant.

    Jan. 3

  • Drugs: At 1:08 a.m. someone contacted on Balfour Road was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • Warrant: At 9:55 a.m. someone contacted on Broderick Drive was arrested for outstanding warrants.

  • Drugs: At 3:51 p.m. someone contacted during a traffic stop on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested for possession of counterfeit $20 bills and suspected drug possession. Subject was on probation.

    Jan. 4

  • Burglary: At 8:10 a.m. it was reported a vehicle was burglarized on Crawford Drive. Approximately $1,000 worth of property was stolen.

  • Stolen vehicle: At 1:15 p.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from Norris Street.

  • Burglary: At 7:17 p.m. it was reported a residence on Carter Place was burglarized resulting in the loss of jewelry, an iPad and cash.

    Jan. 5

  • Vandalism: At 4:44 a.m. officers responded to Birch Street for the report of a Dumpster fire. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Department.

  • Shoplifting: At 5:21 p.m. a juvenile was placed under citizen's arrest for shoplifting at a business on Sand Creek Road.

  • Assault: At 8:35 p.m. someone was arrested for assaulting a female on Berkshire Lane.
