Six people were arrested after police raided a home west of North Park Victoria Drive on Friday morning and seized drug paraphernalia and stolen property, Milpitas Police Department reported.
At about 7 a.m., the Milpitas SWAT team, detectives and patrol officers, with the assistance of the Santa Clara Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 1800 block of Park Oak Court, as part of an ongoing drug and burglary investigation.
Moments after the initial contact and announcement of the search warrant, police said three adults exited the residence and were detained. Officers allegedly saw one person attempt to flee the residence from the back yard. They confronted that person, but the suspect fled back into the residence, police said.
After several minutes and announcements, the remaining occupants eventually complied and exited the home. A total of 13 people were detained, five of whom were juveniles. The juveniles were eventually released to family members, police said.
Drug paraphernalia, evidence of fraud and suspected stolen property were located inside the home, police said. Milpitas police detectives are following up to confirm the status and rightful owners of the seized property, police said.
Six adults were arrested for being under the influence of a stimulant. They arrested San Jose residents Roy Alexander Spotwood, 18, and Myisha Marie Johnson, 32, and Milpitas residents Madison Smith, 26, Jason Francis Stout, 31, Jeremiah Justin O'Brien, 32, and Dixie Ann Butcher, 62. All suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail, police said.
