DUBLIN -- Twenty-four years after her disappearance, once again family, friends and community members spent Wednesday remembering Ilene Misheloff.

Misheloff was 13 years old when last seen Jan. 30, 1989. She was walking westbound on Amador Valley Boulevard. A dedicated ice skater, Misheloff was heading to an ice skating lesson after school.

A 7 p.m. candlelight march and vigil event is held each year on the anniversary of Misheloff's disappearance in an effort to keep interest in the case alive. It begins each year at Misheloff's old school, Wells Middle School, and ends at St. Raymond Catholic Church for a short prayer service.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dublin police at 925-833-6670. A $100,000 award is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for her disappearance. Information about Misheloff is available at www.find-ilene.org.
