NORWALK — A 25-year-old woman who crashed her vehicle into a restaurant early Thursday morning was released after it was determined she hadn't been driving under the influence.
The woman was released on a citation after being treated for minor injuries she suffered when she crashed her vehicle, Sheriff's Norwalk Station Sgt. Greg Arnold.
The woman, a Diamond Bar resident who wasn't identified, was released due to other medical issues, Arnold said.
She crashed her SUV at about 12:30 a.m. into a restaurant at 13220 San Antonio Drive just north of Firestone Boulevard.
The restaurant, called Curly Jones Cafe, sustained a hole in its front wall, damaging two windows, Arnold said.
The woman's SUV suffered heavy body damage, but bounced back without penetrating the eatery.
