Steven Daily, left, and the College Park High boys basketball team continued their recent surge by claiming the Diablo Valley Athletic League championship. The Falcons earned a share of the title with a 78-52 win over second-place Concord on Feb. 5, then made it an outright championship by defeating Clayton Valley 72-49 on Feb. 8. Five Falcons players reached double figure scoring in the win over Concord, led by sophomore Kevin Crosno's 18 points. A.J. Newell was the scoring leader against Clayton Valley, pouring in 15 points to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. College Park will learn its North Coast Section Division II playoff seed on Feb. 17.
