SAN JOSE -- Police lifted a shelter-in-place order for two Berryessa-area schools after they arrested a burglary suspect Monday, police said.

Police were alerted to a burglary on Zion Lane around 9:50 a.m. and as a precaution ordered nearby Ruskin Elementary School and St. Victor's School to lock their doors, said Officer Albert Morales.

Officers surrounded the area to keep the burglary suspect from leaving the area, and around 12:30 p.m. they took one person into custody and lifted the lockdown order.
