BRENTWOOD -- Residents and travelers in Brentwood should now experience faster and more convenient calling, surfing the web and downloading through the Verizon Wireless network because of a new cell site, which aims to improve wireless services on Vasco Road, Camino Diablo, Marsh Creek Road and Walnut Boulevard.

Verizon officials said that this network upgrade is aligned with the company's commitment to enhancing its wireless network. Since its creation in 2000, Verizon has invested at least $7.8 billion in its network in California.
