Antioch

  • Angel Ears: Try your reading skills out by reading to a loving dog. The dog won't talk back and will listen attentively -- you can't ask for a better audience. Noon-1:30 p.m. March 9.

  • Nature Walk at Contra Loma Reservoir: East Bay Regional Park Ranger Bob will lead a 45-minute nature walk at Contra Loma Reservoir, 1200 Frederickson Lane. The walk will begin at the entrance to the Swim Lagoon (which is about a three-minute walk from the parking lot). $5 parking fee. Rain will cancels. Questions: 510-544-2750. 10 a.m. March 16.

    Meet and Greet Greyhounds: Join others for a special story about a Greyhound and then meet and greet two wonderful Greyhounds. 3 p.m. March 20.

  • Infant/Toddler Storytime: Short board and picture book stores for infants, toddlers and preschoolers with parent or caregiver and child interaction. 10:30-10:50 a.m. Thursdays.
