Drivers headed through Pittsburg and Antioch this week should expect delays on Highway 4 as work continues to widen the road.

All lanes of eastbound Highway 4 will be closed in Antioch between the Contra Loma Boulevard/L Street and Lone Tree Way/A Street exits from midnight to 4 a.m. Monday and Tuesday; the westbound direction will be closed through the same stretch from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., according to a Caltrans news release.

All westbound lanes will be closed between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive exit and Loveridge Road from 10 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Also, a single eastbound lane will be closed between Railroad Avenue and Loveridge from midnight to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

One westbound lane will be closed between the Somersville/Auto Center exit and Harbor Street from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday and the Highway 160 interchange to Lone Tree/A 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday.

The eastbound Loveridge off-ramp will be closed 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Three westbound on-ramps will be closed this week: the Lone Tree Way/A ramp will be closed 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, the Somersville/Auto Center ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and the Loveridge ramp will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Also, a single lane of Hillcrest Avenue will be closed in both directions between Tregallas Road and Sunset Drive 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
