The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police July 1-4, according to information provided by the Police Department.
DUI: 5:32 a.m. someone was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after running in to a wooden fence on McClarren Road. Burglary: At 8:57 a.m. a vehicle was reported to have been burglarized on Rainier Street. Several items were stolen. Weapons violation: At 11:53 a.m. someone determined to be a felon was stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sawyer Way. Subject was arrested when found to be in possession of a concealed firearm.
July 2 Attempted burglary: At 2:38 p.m. someone opened unlocked door at a residence on Sunlight Drive and fled when the alarm sounded. Fraud: At 3:22 p.m. officers responded to a call on Meadow Brook Court that someone used the victim's debit card number to make purchases at several locations in Alameda County. Parole/Probation violation: At 5:29 p.m. officers responded a call on Second Street that someone on felony probation was contacted and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a hypodermic needle.
July 3 Petty theft: At 11:53 a.m. a black bicycle and a black and pink seat were stolen from a front porch on Vignola Court and a different bicycle was left in the front yard. Vandalism: At 7:20 p.m. a person on Brentwood Boulevard had his/her vehicle's front passenger window shattered. Suspended license: At 11:12 p.m. officers stopped a driver on Central Boulevard for a violation and found he was driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed and stored.
July 4 Health and Safety violation: Officers contacted a person on Brentwood Boulevard at 2:20 a.m. and found them to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Weapons possession: Officers contacted a person on Village Drive around 12:07 p.m. and found the person to be in possession of a concealed fixed blade knife. Drug possession: Officers contacted a passenger in a vehicle on Brentwood Boulevard around 10:33 p.m. and found the person to be in possession of methamphetamine.
-- Paul Burgarino Warrant: Officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 4 around 11:56 p.m. and found the driver to have a $50,000 warrant out of San Bernardino County.
