The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police July 29-Aug. 2, according to information provided by the Police Department.

July 29

  • Vandalism: At 9:54 a.m. a resident reported two tires were slashed on a vehicle at a location on Sherwood Drive.

  • Drugs: At 5:28 p.m. someone contacted on Lone Tree Way was arrested for suspicion of being in possession and under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

  • Theft: At 7:07 p.m. someone stole items from a business on Second Street fleeing before police arrival. Items where recovered in the paring lot.

    July 30

  • Vehicle theft: At 2:57 p.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Public intoxication: At 5:46 p.m. someone was arrested during a disturbance for suspicion of public intoxication.

  • Burglary: At 7:38 p.m. a residence on Lone Tree Way was reported burglarized.

    July 31

  • Burglary: At 5:29 a.m. burglars entered the Sunglass Hut on Sand Creek Road after breaking the front door glass, stealing numerous items.

  • Weapon: At 8:16 a.m. someone on probation was contacted on Grant Street and was found in possession of a loaded zip gun, ammunition and black powder.

  • Burglary: At 10:38 p.m. someone stole a clothing bag containing a blood pressure cuff and other miscellaneous medical supplies from a vehicle on Griffith Lane.

    Aug. 1

  • Resisting lawful orders: At 11:27 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sand Creek Road was arrested for refusing to comply with lawful orders.

  • Attempted theft: At 4:02 p.m. two individuals were arrested at a business at a business on Lone Tree Way for attempting to steal items.

  • Assault: At 3:16 p.m. two juveniles were arrested for engaging in mutual combat at a location on Lone Tree Way.

    Aug. 2

  • DUI: At 12:51 a.m. someone was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated on Lone Tree Way.

  • Stolen vehicle: At 7:53 a.m. someone was found sleeping in a vehicle on Lynn Drive that was reported stolen out of Concord. Subject also had outstanding warrants.

  • Drugs: At 3:22 p.m. someone contacted for trespassing on Sawyer Way was arrested of suspected drug and paraphernalia possession.
