OAKLAND -- A man who died Tuesday from gunshot wounds suffered Jan. 4 in the Fruitvale district was identified by police Thursday as Miguel Barboza, 37.

Barboza, an Oakland resident, was shot about 3:25 a.m. Jan. 4 in the 3600 block of International Boulevard after apparently getting into an argument with someone, police said.

Officer Nick Calonge said police still don't have a motive for the killing, and no arrests have been made.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Anyone having information may call police at 510-238-3821 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
