In the weekly feature called "e-views," we invite readers to answer a question via email or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BrentwoodNews.
WHO CARES -- it's a cat? If you own more than five cats you're a goon.
I WOULD SAVE my baby pits from a burning house. It's not the animals, it's the owners.
THE LAW SHOULD be revised to state if you feed the colonies of cats (which downtown has numerous), you must also trap and provide spay and neuter. The colonies already exist, it would be inhumane to just stop feeding and let them starve. Its time to control the population!
WHAT ABOUT AGGRESSIVE dogs who eat your fence to get at your kids and dog. The aggressive dog has bit my dogs face, and I've had to repair my fence a number of times.

STOP BUILDING IN Antioch. Lower the price for homes. Make things lower in cost out here. Then people can afford their pets and stop letting them go.
The less population on people, the less pets free to roam.
IT'S NOT RIGHT that can tell you how many cats you can have. No, Antioch needs to do something about pit bulls. I don't care what anyone says, I will feed any cat I see. They just have power so they think they can say or do what they want and make everyone follow. Well it won't work! I see so many dogs running loose, but no one does anything about it. I hear on the scanner every day, someone has been bitten or running from a dog. I heard of two off Hillcrest. Two pits running loose. The stray cats we take care of when people left them when -- when they walked away from their homes -- those people need to be found and dealt with.
This week's question:
On Jan. 2, a young girl was kidnapped after she and her mother were followed home from the Antioch Walmart. The next day we learned there had been a similar kidnapping attempt at that same Walmart the night before, as well as two other attempted kidnappings of women that night in East County. Despite this, the public did not know of these attempts. Do you think the public should have been warned of the previous attempts? Why or why not?
