Black Angus Steakhouse is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the grand opening of its Brentwood location at 4 p.m. Feb. 6. The company plans to give back to the community by donating 10 percent of its sales that night to the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano.

"This is the first of many partnerships between our Brentwood restaurant and the local organizations that work tirelessly to improve our community," said David Wolfgram, Black Angus president and chief executive officer.

According to the food bank's Executive Director Larry Sly, it is able to feed about 149,000 people monthly because of donations like this.

The Brentwood restaurant is around 7,900 square feet and features an outdoor patio that includes heating and misting systems and several televisions. For more details, visit www.blackangus.com.
