CONCORD -- The Mt. Diablo school district will hold six public meetings over the next few months to share information and gather ideas to help fund new and existing programs as part of its new local control accountability plan.

Superintendent Nellie Meyer will meet with the public at schools throughout the district starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the multiuse room at Ygnacio Valley High, 755 Oak Grove Road in Concord. Subsequent meetings are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Little Theater at Northgate High in Walnut Creek, 6:30 p.m. March 18 in the choir room at Concord High, 6:30 p.m. April 8 in Romaine Hall at Mt. Diablo High in Concord, and at 6:30 p.m. May 20 in the library at College Park High in Pleasant Hill.

A meeting date has not yet been set at Diablo View Middle School in Clayton.
