CONCORD -- A kitchen fire that spread to a home's attic on Delaware Drive was quickly contained by fire crews Tuesday afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.

No one was injured.

The fire was reported around 3:17 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they could see smoke coming from the home's roof, the dispatcher said.

The blaze, which had started in the kitchen, had spread to the home's attic. The blaze was under control by 3:39 p.m., the dispatcher added.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimate was not available.
