What to watch This week

BVAL championships, wrestling, Feb. 21, 4:30 p.m. -- Pittsburg High hosts one of the better league wrestling tournaments in the East Bay as the BVAL's best aim for league titles and spots in next week's North Coast Section championships.

San Ramon Valley at Monte Vista, boys basketball, Friday. 7 p.m. -- The East Bay Athletic League title will be at stake when the Mustangs host the rival Wolves in the regular season finale for both teams. San Ramon Valley beat Monte Vista 59-56 in overtime on Jan. 28, and has won eight straight going into the game. A Monte Vista victory would not only clinch the EBAL title but also likely the No. 1 seed for the NCS Division I playoffs.

Bishop O'Dowd at Castro Valley, boys basketball, Friday, 7 p.m. -- The Dragons will look to complete their West Alameda County Conference-Foothill Division schedule with a unbeaten record when they face the Trojans.

NCS boys and girls soccer playoffs, Saturday -- Quarterfinal matches in the boys and girls divisions will be played at home site of the highest seeded team in each pairing. Defending champions are De La Salle in Division I boys, San Ramon Valley in Division I girls and Bishop O'Dowd in Division II girls. Concord won the Division II boys title in 2013 but did not make the postseason this year.
