The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police March 8-12, according to information provided by the Police Department.

March 8

  • Stolen vehicle: At 2:30 a.m. someone stealing a vehicle from a location on Central Boulevard failed to yield to an officer at which time a short pursuit occurred. Subject abandon the vehicle. Officers recovered the vehicle.

  • Warrant: At 9:29 a.m. someone was arrested on Rockwell Street for two outstanding warrants.

  • Public intoxication: At 2:30 p.m. a female causing a disturbance with the neighbors on McClarren Road was arrested for suspicion of public intoxication.

    March 9

  • Accident: At 1:52 a.m. someone crashed into a tree in the center median on Apricot Way and fled the scene. Subject was located nearby asleep in the vehicle and was arrested when determined to have a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or more.

  • Public intoxication: At 1:27 p.m. someone was arrested on San Jose Avenue for suspicion of public intoxication.

  • Warrant: At 4:18 p.m. someone contacted during a suspicious vehicle stop on Sand Creek Road was arrested when found to have an outstanding felony warrant.

    March 10

  • Burglary: At 10:14 a.m. it was reported a residence on Crawford Drive was burglarized. Take was prescription medicine.

  • Theft: At 4:06 p.m. someone was arrested for shoplifting at a business on Lone Tree Way.

  • Drugs: At 5:57 p.m. someone contacted on First Street was arrested for violation of a domestic violence restraining order and for suspected methamphetamine possession.

    March 11

  • Warrant: At 12:09 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Walnut Boulevard was arrested when found to have an outstanding warrant.

  • Drugs: At 9:17 a.m. someone was arrested at a school on American Way for suspected marijuana possession.

  • Drugs: At 2:55 p.m. someone was arrested on Bonnie Lane for suspected possession of methamphetamine and possession of an assault rifle.

    March 12

  • Vandalism: At 8:21 a.m. officers responded to a report of vandalism on Ray Street where someone spray painted the retaining wall at the east end of Mallard Park. A table top and bench were also damaged.

  • Theft: At 1:54 p.m. someone was placed under citizen's arrest by loss prevention officers at a business on Lone Tree Way.

  • Vehicle theft: At 6:32 p.m. it was reported a vehicle was stolen on Sand Creek Boulevard.
