David Satyadi of Antioch, earned the rank of Eagle Scout which was presented at a Court of Honor at Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood.

David, 17, is the son of Antonius and Juwati Satyad, a senior at Deer Valley High School, and a member of Boy Scout Troop 450 under the leadership of Scoutmaster Matt Dunn.

For his Eagle project, David built and secured trash can corrals at Contra Loma Regional Park to reduce littering by park visitors and keep trash cans from getting knocked over on windy days.

During his Scouting career, David has earned 33 merit badges, served as senior patrol leader, patrol leader, troop scribe, grubmaster, chaplain's aide, and as a historian. He completed Den Chief Training and National Youth Leadership Training, and is a member of Order of the Arrow.

David serves as co-captain of the Deer Valley High School varsity swim team and senior class president. He enjoys swimming, snowboarding, and traveling.
