ALBANY -- The organization Rebuilding Together East Bay-North (rtebn.org) is issuing a plea for volunteers to help with a project in Albany on National Rebuilding Day on April 26.
The organization, which provides free critical home repairs to low-income seniors and people with disabilities in Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville and Richmond, will be working on 12 homes in Berkeley and one in Albany that day.
"We are looking for volunteers, both in a group or individually, to come help out at the Albany project," said volunteer and outreach coordinator Marie Hubbard. "Tasks for volunteers will include interior painting, yard work, general hammer tasks, and general cleaning."
Anyone interested in helping is asked to contact Marie Hubbard at 510-644-8979 ext. 103 or email@example.com as soon as possible.
