The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police March 29-April 2, according to information provided by the Police Department.

March 29

  • Warrant: At 5:21 p.m. someone contacted as a passenger during a traffic stop on Sycamore Avenue was arrested when found to have an outstanding warrant.

  • Theft: At 6:59 p.m. someone stole merchandise from a business on Lone Tree Way and attempted to return the merchandise at the store's Pittsburg location.

  • Drugs: At 9:53 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Balfour Road was arrested for driving with a suspended license and suspected possession of heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

    March 30

  • Theft: At 11:09 a.m. a resident on Rockwell Street reported the catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle sometime during the night.

  • Warrant: At 3:58 p.m. someone contacted outside a residence on Orchard Drive was arrested when found to have an outstanding warrant.

  • Breaking and entering: At 4:20 p.m. it was reported someone broke into a vacant business on Dainty Avenue. Nothing was taken as the building has been empty for two years.

    March 31

  • Drugs: At 5:46 a.m. someone was arrested on Park Way for suspicion of being under the influence of methamphetamine.

  • License violation: At 12:12 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle mechanical violation on Brentwood Boulevard was cited when found to be driving with a suspended license.

  • DUI: At 8:06 p.m. some colliding with the center median on Sand Creek Road was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Subject was transported to a hospital for complaint of pain.

    April 1

  • Theft: At 1:37 p.m. someone entered a business on Balfour Road and left without paying for merchandise. Police checked the area for the subject with negative results.

  • Burglary: At 3:27 p.m. it was reported a residence on Pippo Avenue was burglarized. Entry was made through an open garage door.

  • Accident: At 4:10 p.m. an injury accident occurred when someone pulled out of a business onto Walnut Boulevard colliding with another vehicle. A passenger was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

    April 2

  • Weapons: At 12:18 p.m. someone was arrested for possession of a homemade Taser and using it to stun two individuals at a school on American Avenue. Further investigation found that the subject was selling them at the school.

  • Theft: At 2:13 p.m. it was reported someone stole concrete blocks from a maintenance project on Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Burglary: At 5:57 p.m. someone smashed the window of a vehicle on Sand Creek Road and stole a backpack containing an iPad, MacBook Pro, passport, and jewelry.
