CONCORD -- What's better than enjoying the dulcet tones of Barry Gibb's distinctive falsetto under the stars at the Concord Pavilion?

Seeing the show for free.

As part of its 10-year Pavilion management contract, Live Nation agreed to provide 1,000 free tickets each year to Concord residents. The promoter is giving away 250 tickets to Gibb's May 31 show and 250 to Lionel Richie's June 1 concert.

From noon to 5 p.m. on May 27 at the Pavilion box office, residents may claim up to two tickets while supplies last by presenting a utility bill and a driver's license or other government-issued ID.
