The following calls were among those handled by the Brentwood police April 26-30, according to information provided by the Police Department.

April 26

  • Petty theft: At 11:30 a.m. a juvenile was arrested at Home Depot on Lone Tree Way on suspicion of petty theft. Estimated loss $63.

  • Drugs: At 2:02 p.m. someone was arrested on Lone Tree Way on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • License violation: At 4:03 p.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Sunset Road was arrested when determined to be driving with a suspended license because of a prior DUI conviction.

    April 27

  • Warrant: At 1:28 a.m. officers arrested a passenger during a traffic stop on Brentwood Boulevard. The suspect was determined to have a misdemeanor traffic warrant. Released from scene on a Promise to Appear.

  • DUI: At 2:35 a.m. someone stopped for a vehicle code violation on Blue Bird Lane was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Arson: At 6:04 p.m. a juvenile was arrested at a park on Adams Lane on suspicion of setting fire in a restroom.

    April 28

  • Alcohol/weapons: At 12:46 p.m. a juvenile was arrested on Oak Street for suspected possession of alcohol. A second juvenile was arrested on suspicion of possessing a locking blade knife.

  • Theft: At 1:27 p.m. two females stole seven pairs of sunglasses from a business on Sand Creek Road.

  • Fraud: At 2:15 p.m. a female on Orchid Drive reported receiving an annoying phone call from an unknown party trying to collect money from her ex-husband.

    April 29

  • Vehicle theft: At 11:32 a.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Fruitwood Common.

  • Assault: At 3:50 p.m. someone at a location on Homecoming Way was punched in the face several times.

  • Violation: At 8:05 p.m. someone was arrested at a location on Mandarin Court on suspicion of violating a restraining order.

    April 30

  • Drug paraphernalia: At 6:42 a.m. an anonymous reporting party found hypodermic needles in the street in front of Brentwood Emporium.

  • Fraud: At 2:56 p.m. a resident on Arlington Way reported someone used personal information to open credit card accounts.

  • Assault: At 2:31 p.m. individuals were engaged in a physical altercation at a school on Second Street. One person was transported to Sutter Delta Medical Center.
