The following calls were among those handled by the Oakley police May 20-25, according to information provided by the Police Department.
May 20 Dispute: At 9:53 a.m. officers responded to Main Street and Laurel Road for the report of a verbal dispute. Grant Theft: At 12:56 p.m. officers responded to the 1700 block of Pecan Lane for a report of grand theft. Burglary: At 5:53 p.m. it was reported that a residence in the 40 block of Roger Lane was burglarized.
May 21 Accident: At 9:56 a.m. officers responded to Laurel and Neroly roads for the report of an accident with property damage. Reckless driving: At 2:47 p.m. officers responded to Empire Avenue and Neroly Road for a report of reckless driving. Warrant: At 10:32 p.m. someone was arrested at McDonalds for an outstanding warrant.
May 22 Domestic violence: At 12:07 a.m. officers responded to a report of domestic violence in the 600 block of Gingham Way. Welfare check: At 9:17 a.m. officers responded to the 1400 block of Ashwood Drive for a welfare check. Reckless driving: At 4:19 p.m. officers responded to the report of a reckless driver at Laurel Elementary School.
May 23 Vandalism: At 5:33 a.m. officers responded to the report of vandalism at a location on El Monte Court. Burglary: At 9:10 a.m. a residence was reported burglarized in the 900 block of Weibel Circle. Verbal dispute: At 6:42 p.m. officers responded to the report of a verbal dispute in the 3100 block Main Street.
May 24 Warrant: At 8:57 a.m. some was arrested on West Acme Street for an outstanding warrant. Drugs: At 12:12 p.m. officers responded to a location on Trafalgar Way for the report of someone using drugs. Battery: At 4 p.m. someone was arrested on suspicion of battery on Dali Court.
May 25 Battery: At 3:09 a.m. officers responded to a report of domestic violence at a location on East Home and Third streets. Domestic violence: At 1:04 p.m. someone was arrested in the 1300 block of Maple Drive on suspicion of domestic battery. DUI: At 8:34 p.m. someone was arrested on Laurel Road and Mercedes Lane on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
