Seidemann heads College Park HOF inductees
Melissa Seidemann, pictured competing at the London Olympics in 2012, will be inducted into College Park High's Hall of Fame later this summer along with three other athletes, a coach and a team. In the eighth year of the school's athletic hall of fame, Seidemann is the first Olympian. She helped Team USA win a gold medal in women's water polo in 2012. Also being inducted at the Aug. 23 event are Kevin Mullaney (1970 baseball), Mike Healey (2005 football), Cori Alexander (2003 girls soccer), the 1993 and 1994 wrestling teams and wrestling coach Cory Salmon (1983-1996). The event will be held at St. Andrews Community Center in Pleasant Hill and is open to the public. Advance tickets are $60.
