MONDAY, June 2

  • WARRANT -- At 6:30 a.m. a 53-year-old San Francisco man was arrested at Kaady Car Wash on San Pablo Avenue for an outstanding warrant after an investigation when workers complained that he was going through the vacuum dispensers.

  • ALTERCATION -- Officers responded to a disturbance near San Pablo and Portland avenues at 8 p.m. involving four men. The men were separated and the matter was resolved.

    TUESDAY, June 3

  • INTOXICATED -- Officers investigated a person lying on the sidewalk near Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Carmel Avenue at 3 a.m. who appeared to have been drinking and arrested the 36-year-old Berkeley man for suspicion of disorderly conduct when he was found to be unable to care for himself.

  • DUI -- A 24-year-old Hayward man was arrested for suspicion of two counts of DUI when he was stopped in the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue at 4 a.m.

  • BURGLARY -- Access Telecom on Solano Avenue was burgled overnight.

  • ALTERCATION -- At 2 p.m. officers responded to reports of a fight between two boys at Albany High School on Key Route Boulevard.

    WEDNESDAY, June 4

  • PEDESTRIAN CONCERN -- A man reported he had almost been run over two separate times while walking near Solano and Santa Fe avenues and requested more police presence at the intersection.

  • DRUGS -- A 44-year-old Berkeley man was arrested at the Albany Bulb at 10:30 p.m. for suspicion of two counts of drug possession.

    THURSDAY, June 5

  • JUVENILE PROBLEM -- Officers responded to Albany High School at 9 a.m. on reports of two juveniles caught drinking alcohol.

  • DISTURBANCE -- Officers are investigating reports by Madison Street residents of teenagers living in a house without adults and getting high and drunk every night between 3 and 7 a.m.

  • THEFT -- Coins were stolen from machines in the laundry room of an apartment building on Calhoun Street during the morning.

  • VANDALISM -- The lock of a car on Madison Street was broken overnight.

  • DUI -- At 8 p.m. officers arrested a 23-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block San Pablo Avenue at 11:30 p.m. and arrested a 23-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • ALTERCATION -- A 22-year-old Richmond woman was arrested in the 500 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of domestic violence causing injury and disorderly conduct.

    FRIDAY, June 6

  • THEFT -- A burnt orange Salsa trail mountain bike with 29-inch tires was stolen overnight from a front porch on Cornell Avenue by cutting the chain lock.

  • THEFT -- At 5 p.m. a woman reported her purse was stolen from a cart at Target.

  • WARRANT -- A 19-year-old Albany man was arrested for two outstanding warrants at 9:30 p.m. at the AM/PM.

  • DUI -- A 28-year-old San Pablo man was arrested near Washington Avenue and Madison Street at 11 p.m. for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • INTOXICATION -- A 23-year-old San Pablo man lying on the sidewalk Washington Avenue and Madison Street at midnight was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    SATURDAY, June 7

  • DUI -- A 25-year-old Albany man was arrested at 3 a.m. in the 600 block of Buchanan Street for suspicion of DUI.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 6 p.m. Golden Gate Fields security reported having a man in custody who had been drinking and was causing a disturbance. The 28-year-old Kentucky man was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    SUNDAY, June 8

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 6:30 p.m. officers warned a man with a large dog at the baseball field at Memorial Park when the umpire complained that he was acting aggressively toward fans at the game.
