The following excerpts are from the Brentwood police log May 18-21:

Tuesday, May 18

  • DUI -- An individual stopped for a vehicle code violation at 1:12 a.m. on Brentwood Boulevard was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

  • Assault -- Someone was assaulted at 2:09 a.m. in front of the Uptown Bar on First Street.

  • theft -- Two males entered a business on Sand Creek Road at 5:12 p.m. stealing two cell phones. Estimated loss was approximately $1,250.

    Wednesday, May 19

  • Malicious vandalism -- It was reported at 10:51 a.m. that tires were slashed on a vehicle at a location on Sand Creek Road.

  • Vehicle recovery -- Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 10:43 a.m. from a location on Lone Tree Way.

  • Warrant -- An individual contacted at 3:11 p.m. on Lone Tree Way was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

    Thursday, May 20

  • Theft -- Officers arrested an individual at a location on Oak Street at 2:16 p.m. for suspected possession of stolen property valued at approximately $1,300.

  • Residential Burglary -- Officers responded to Roselinda Court at 10:06 a.m. for the report of a burglary.

  • Vandalism: A resident on Ethan Allen Drive reported at 6:27 p.m. that vehicles were egged for the third time since May 8. No permanent damage to the vehicles occurred.

    Friday, May 21

  • Drugs -- Two students at a school on Second Street were arrested at 10:05 a.m. for suspected possession of marijuana brownies.

  • Vehicle Accident -- Officers responded to the report of a noninjury accident at 11:53 a.m. on Brentwood Boulevard.

  • Drugs -- An individual was arrested on Mountain View Drive at 3:02 p.m. on suspicion of selling methamphetamine while driving an ice cream truck.
