Two of Saint Mary's biggest former stars will lead opposing teams at Sunday's Gaels Basketball All-Star Classic.

Patty Mills, fresh off helping the San Antonio Spurs capture the NBA title, will lead the white team as a player-coach. Matthew Dellavedova, coming off his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, will fill the same role for the blue team.

Mills' team consists of Brett Collins, Todd Golden, Daniel Kickert, Paul Marigney, Ian O'Leary, E.J. Rowland, Jonathan Sanders, Diamon Simpson and Lucas Walker.

Stephen Holt, Wayne Hunter, Rob Jones, Beau Levesque, Mickey McConnell, Kyle Rowley, Omar Samhan and Mitchell Young will play for Dellavedova's team.

The All-Star Classic will tip off at 6 p.m. at McKeon Pavilion.

  • The Sharks are holding their first NHL draft party starting at 3 p.m. Friday at Stanley's, the sports bar located at the team's practice rink. Sharks Ice is located at South 10th Street and Alma Avenue.
