Orlando Johnson will play for the Warriors' NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas, the free agent's brother, Jamell Damon, confirmed Friday.

Johnson has played for both Indiana and Sacramento, and the Seaside native has averaged 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game during his two-season NBA career.

Among the undrafted rookies who'll play for the Warriors are Ohio State's Aaron Craft and Oakland University's Travis Bader. Both guards will first play for Philadelphia's NBA Summer League team in Orlando, Florida.

Santa Cruz Warriors guard Kiwi Gardner, an Oakland native, is also expected to join the team that will be coached by Steve Kerr.

Golf

Europe's Ricardo Gouveia posted a 1-up win over former Cal star Brandon Hagy at the Palmer Cup in Walton-on-the-Hill, England. The U.S. and Europe are tied 10-10 entering the final day of the Ryder Cup-style event at Walton Heath. Gouveia won Nos. 16-18 for the victory.

Figure skating

San Jose Olympian Polina Edmunds will make her senior Grand Prix debut in November at the Cup of China in Shanghai on Nov. 7-9, U.S. Figure Skating said. The 16-year-old Archbishop Mitty High student also will skate at the NHK Trophy on Nov. 28-30 in Osaka, Japan.
