OAKLAND -- An 18-year-old Berkeley woman who died after a double shooting Thursday night in the parking lot of a Wendy's restaurant has been identified as Ayana Dominguez, police said.
Dominguez was killed in the 8:45 p.m. shooting, which also left her 22-year-old boyfriend wounded in the parking lot of the Fruitvale District restaurant at 3100 International Blvd., police said.
The boyfriend, an Oakland resident whose name was not released, refused assistance at the scene and was taken by relatives to a hospital, where he was in stable condition with a wound to his lower body.
Police learned that Dominguez had also been taken by someone to a hospital, where she died at 9:34 p.m.
Police said the two had driven to the Wendy's for food and were sitting in the car when at least one gunman opened fire on them from outside before fleeing.
Police don't have a motive for the attack and no arrests have been made.
