The following excerpts are from the Antioch police logs, Aug. 17-23.
Sunday, AUG. 17 ASSAULT -- A male returned to his home on Alpha Way drunk and bleeding from his posterior at 3:47 a.m. but did not know where he was when he was allegedly sliced. ASSAULT -- A clerk reported being assaulted at a store on the 1100 block of East 18th Street at 11:53 a.m.
MONDAY, AUG. 18 BURGLARY -- A residence in the 5100 block of Vista Grande Drive was reported burglarized at 9:53 a.m.
TUESDAY, AUG. 19 BURGLARY -- Resident in the 4900 block of Country Hills Drive reported someone broke into the rear sliding glass door and stole and washer and dryer overnight. BURGLARY -- A residence in the 4500 block of Loon Court was reported burglarized at 5:37 p.m. Take was a TV, iPad, video games and a safe.
THURSDAY, AUG. 21 ASSAULT -- At 9:37 p.m., police were called to the 1142 block of Legett Street after a person allegedly shot at the house, leaving one person shot in the foot.
FRIDAY, AUG. 22 ASSAULT -- A resident in the 1800 block of Mt. Silliman Way reported hearing loud arguments and one shot from behind her at 6:45 p.m. ASSAULT -- A resident in the 100 block of West Third Street reported hearing shots and seeing a red Camaro hit and subjects inside car run around 11:27 p.m. Neighbor's vehicle was also shot at.
SATURDAY, AUG. 23 ROBBERY -- Two males in the 3300 block of Deer Valley Road allegedly stole $1,000 worth of baby formula at 9:36 a.m. BURGLARY -- Police were called at 12:42 p.m. to the 2300 lock of Lemontree Way after a subject was seen climbing into a window with three other subjects waiting in the carport.
