  • VEHICLE ACCIDENT, INJURY -- A vehicle collided with a child at Marin and Masonic avenues, resulting in an unspecified injury.

  • SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE -- Someone reported receiving a voice mail death threat voice mail while in the lobby of Cornell School on Talbot Avenue.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen on Kains Avenue. The empty vehicle fell down an embankment.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A vehicle was struck on Solano Avenue sometime between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 24 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 25.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 26

  • DISTURBANCE -- A "very intoxicated subject" yelled at people in the California Orientation Center for the Blind on Adams Street. Albany police assisted another agency.

    WEDNESDAY, AUG. 27

  • VEHICLE BURGLARY -- A vehicle was burglarized in a driveway on Peralta Avenue.

  • SUSPICIOUS PERSON ARREST -- Police arrested a man who had been drinking and talking to himself and passers-by on San Pablo Avenue.

  • BATTERY -- An incident of battery on a person occurred at Albany High School.

  • PETTY THEFT -- A bicycle was taken from a back yard on Key Route Boulevard sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A car that was stopped at the traffic light on San Pablo Avenue at Solano Avenue was hit by another vehicle.

  • DISTURBANCE OF THE PEACE -- Three men got into a fight at Club Mallard on San Pablo Avenue. Police were unable to find a complainant.

  • PEDESTRIAN ARREST -- An officer conducted a check of a pedestrian at Garfield and San Pablo avenues, resulting in arrest.

    THURSDAY, AUG. 28

  • IDENTITY THEFT -- A Southern Indiana resident reported someone was using his credit card in Albany.

  • LOST PASSPORT -- An individual reported losing a passport two days earlier, possibly at Cougar Field.

  • STOLEN VEHICLE -- An officer located a stolen vehicle on Pierce Street. The vehicle was towed.

    FRIDAY, AUG. 29

  • INJURED ANIMAL -- Police called in an outside agency to attend to a badly injured seagull on Buchanan Street.

  • DISTURBANCE -- A man was cursing and yelling after being asked to leave Max's Liquors on San Pablo Avenue. Police separated the disputing parties.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 30

  • WELFARE CHECK -- A woman with no clothing in the north parking lot of Albany Bowl was taken to a hospital.

  • SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE -- A female reported being followed by a male while she was on her way to work at the Target store on Eastshore Frontage Road.

  • HIT-AND-RUN -- A vehicle hit a parked vehicle on Adams Street.
