Oh, what a musical!

Setting the gold standard for jukebox musicals, the Broadway blockbuster "Jersey Boys," the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, returns to San Francisco as part of the SHN series. The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical runs March 9 through April 28, 2013 at the Curran Theatre, 445 Geary Street.

Des McAnuff's infectious musical replaces the previously announced world premiere of "Diner," which has been postponed. "Jersey" first played San Francisco back in 2006 to packed houses and ecstatic reviews. A raucous crowd-pleaser even for those who don't know Valli from Vivaldi, the musical has been seen by more than 15 million people wordwide. The high-octane production's nonstop parade of pop hits includes "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Working My Way Back To You" and the climactic "Who Loves You."

Tickets -- which will go on sale Oct. 26 -- are $45-$110 (subject to change) 888-746-1799. www.shnsf.com.
