Beaujolais Nouveau Dinner: The Left Bank brasseries in San Jose and Menlo Park will celebrate the new Beaujolais Nouveau from Nov. 15 to 17 by pairing the young wine -- Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Nouveau 2012 -- with special Pates Maison, a three-course prix fixe menu ($40) and their usual French-inspired a la carte offerings. Beaujolais de Vendange Party: Kermit Lynch and Bartavelle Coffee and Wine Bar, which took over the old Cafe Fanny spot in Berkeley, will be hosting a "Harvest Beaujolais" party Nov. 17. Beaujolais Night: San Francisco's Zazie joins the festivities with a special Beaujolais Night on Nov. 15 that includes a special four-course dinner ($59) paired with four Beaujolais wines. The restaurant will be adorned in grapes and red cloths, and staff and diners alike are encouraged to wear "their most outrageous red outfits."
