There were some awkward moments for NBC announcers Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, hosts of the 125th annual Tournament of Roses Parade.

When the much-hyped "The Voice's" float appears with Season 5 winner Tessanne Chin, things seem to go haywire.

Instead of singing, Chin and other finalists Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin wait patiently for the music to begin, waving awkwardly to the crowd. Kotb and Roker are also forced to "ad lib" to kill what seemed like a lifetime of air space, even laughing at themselves at one point. Finally around the 5:30 mark of the video, the music begins -- much to the relief of all involved.
