The Games from Sochi, Russia continue with prime time (and prepackaged) coverage of alpine skiing (women's super combined), freestyle skiing (men's moguls) and short-track speedskating. (8 p.m., NBC).

Not all the fierce competition happens at the Olympics. In tonight's installment, the remaining eight women join Juan Pablo in New Zealand, where six of them try out a local extreme sport. And you thought the show itself was an extreme sport.
"Spies of Mississippi" (10 p.m., PBS): The latest documentary from "Independent Lens" tells the story of the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission, a secret intelligence agency created by the state government in the 1950s to repel desegregation, using a network of both black and white informants to infiltrate civil rights groups.
