THE STAT LINE: The Gonzaga-bound ace fired a 6-under 66 to win medalist honors by two strokes at the NCGA/CIF boys golf championships at Sierra View Country Club in Roseville. It was the third straight week that Brueckner shot a round in the 60s.

Noah Bremer

SCHOOL: Berkeley

SPORT: Baseball

YEAR: Senior

POSITION: Pitcher/first baseman

THE STAT LINE: The Washington-bound Bremer drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning with one of his two hits, and he also pitched three innings of hitless shutout relief as the Yellowjackets beat Granada 2-0 in a North Coast Section Division I quarterfinal game. In the first round, Bremer threw a six-hitter with one earned run and also went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs as the Yellowjackets defeated California 7-2.

Chloe Jenkins

SCHOOL: St. Mary's

SPORT: Track and field

YEAR: Junior

EVENTS: 400 meters, 800, 400 relay, 1,600 relay

THE STAT LINE: Jenkins crossed the finish line first in four events at the NCS Bay Shore Area Championships. She had the fastest times in the 400 (57.15 seconds) and 800 (2:15.90) and came from behind to anchor the Panthers to victories in the 400 (48.00) and 1,600 (3:51.42) relays. Her split in the 1,600 relay was an impressive 55.4.

Evan Murphy

SCHOOL: Amador Valley

SPORT: Lacrosse

YEAR: Senior

POSITION: Midfielder

THE STAT LINE: Murphy, the East Bay Athletic League MVP and an Oregon signee, scored two goals on free shots to help the Dons to an 8-6 win over Carondelet in the NCS Division I title game.

BOYS

JACOB CALL, Washington, baseball, Sr. -- Call had a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and three walks as the Huskies beat Casa Grande 1-0 in an NCS Division II quarterfinal game.

JA'MAUN CHARLES, Amador Valley, track and field, Jr. -- Charles sped to three victories at the NCS Tri-Valley Area Championships, prevailing in the 100 meters in 10.86 seconds, 200 in 21.94 and as a member of the 1,600 relay, which won in 3:17.44.

GIRLS

CHLOE LANDRY, Acalanes, lacrosse, Sr. -- The Cal-bound Landry had seven goals and four assists in a 21-9 win over Piedmont that gave the Dons their third NCS Division II title in four years. She also had four goals and an assist in a 20-4 win over University-San Francisco in the semifinals.

SUMMER WHITE, Pinole Valley, softball, Fr. -- The catcher was 6 for 7 with seven RBIs in two NCS Division III playoff wins. She was 3 for 4 with a triple, a run scored and four RBIs in an 8-2 quarterfinal victory over Bishop O'Dowd. In the Spartans' opener, she was 3 for 3 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs in an 11-1 win over Sonoma Valley.
