Durell Crooks rushed for 155 yards on 19 carries and scored both St. Francis touchdowns as the host Lancers handed Valley Christian its first loss this season, 14-7, on Friday.

Crooks' 53-yard run to start the fourth quarter was the winner, as he cut inside, then went back outside and sprang down the right sideline.

Crooks also had a 1-yard touchdown run to cap a 12-play drive to start the second half.

The Warriors scored on their first possession of the game on a 10-yard pass from quarterback Zach Vaiana to Brian Fobbs with 6:03 left in the first quarter.

Valley Christian running back Byron Marshall gained 77 yards on 10 carries, 73 of those yards came in the first half. He managed a 16-yard run and a 28-yard run on the second possession for Valley Christian (8-1, 5-1 WCAL).

Defensive end Chris Chang had a sack and a fumble recovery for St. Francis (5-3-1, 4-2 WCAL).
