Several technical problems caused by heat are continuing to delay Bay Area Rapid Transit trains system-wide. The delays began at noon and are affecting trains by as much as 30 minutes, a BART spokesman said.
As of 4:45 p.m., passengers were asked to arrive at the station 20 to 30 minutes prior to their trip and take the first train heading in their direction. Passengers may also be asked to transfer between trains to get to their destinations, according to BART.
