Four candidates share similar views on issues facing district  
The future of the largely agricultural 1,650-acre Doolan Canyon area will rest with Dublin voters on Nov. 4. If passed, the developer-backed Measure T would encourage the Dublin City Council to pursue annexing the unincorporated area east of the city's recently adopted Urban Growth Boundary and allow for future development in the canyon.  
Democrat Mark DeSaulnier has advantages of voter registration, campaign money and the bully pulpit of elected office, but Republican Tue Phan, a retired immigration judge, soldiers on.
