The Contra Costa County Elections division is looking for a few good folks to work the Nov. 5 election in Antioch, Moraga and San Ramon. You must be a registered voter in California to be a poll worker. Bilingual workers are also needed.
No prior experience is necessary. Poll workers receive a stipend of $80- $150, depending on duties, for serving from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on election day. Training is by appointment only.
High school students 16 and older with a GPA of at least 2.5 are encouraged to work the election. They receive stipends and fulfill community service requirements.
