Poison Apple to perform new, original "Clover'
Poison Apple Productions will perform "A Three Leaf Clover," a new original musical written and directed by local award-winning playwright Noelle Arms, Aug. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16 at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek.
Come experience the story of the O'Connor family on the shores of Ireland. They'll help you to fall in love, question what it means to have faith, and experience the magic that no one else can see.

Poison Apple, which formed in 2000, focuses on promoting young people's participation in the performing arts as audience members and active participants. The group does its rehearsals and auditions in Martinez and does most of its public performances in the Knight Stage 3 Theatre at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek.

Family Theatre Festival July 26
The Lesher Center for the Arts will present the second annual Chevron Family Theatre Festival on Saturday, July 26. The community is invited to come together for a day of affordable, world-class family entertainment. Nationally renowned performances will
Tickets are just $5 for each performance. Performances will run all day in the Lesher Center's three theatres, and each show runs 45-50 minutes long and are appropriate for all ages. Tickets can be purchased by calling 925.943.SHOW (7469) or clicking here to order online.
Performers include the Sippy Cups (high-energy rock show for families), the San Jose Taiko Drummers, puppeteer Leslie Carrara (Sesame Street, Johnny and the Sprites), the Pushcart Players and the Rosen Family Singers.
The center will be alive with free activities and entertainment throughout the day, including interactive percussionists, GLANK.
Scientific Jam, Will Rogers cowboy roping lessons, 42nd Street tap dance lessons, puppet making, face painting, storytelling, food from local restaurants and more.
