A closer look: The Spartans and Falcons are meeting for the second time in four weeks. The two teams squared off on Nov. 6 with De La Salle winning 33-7 after outscoring Foothill 20-0 in the second half. Falcons quarterback Sean Mannion set a Northern California record with 581 yards passing in the team's first round win over James Logan. He threw for 212 yards and one TD in the first meeting against the Spartans, but he was also intercepted twice and sacked four times. DLS is 7-0 lifetime against Foothill, including four playoff meetings.
