POSITION: Wide receiver
THE STAT LINE: Gomes caught three passes for 85 yards, including two touchdowns, and also returned a kickoff for a score in the Dragons' 34-20 victory over Castro Valley in West Alameda County Conference-Foothill Division play. His 75-yard kick return for a touchdown came in the first quarter, then he had pass receptions of 22 yards and 61 yards in the second and fourth quarters, respectively, for scores.
POSITION: Running back
THE STAT LINE: Johnson ran for 270 yards and four touchdowns as the Grizzlies beat host San Ramon Valley 41-38 in the East Bay Athletic League. Johnson had touchdown runs of 80 and 59 yards, and two 1-yard scoring runs.
SCHOOL: Moreau Catholic
THE STAT LINE: Mulingtapang had 50 assists and 21 digs in a 25-19, 20-25, 25-14, 25-21 Mission Valley Athletic League victory over James Logan. She also had 27 assists and 11 digs in a 25-15, 25-23, 25-23 victory over Mission San Jose.
SCHOOL: San Ramon Valley
POSITION: Outside hitter
THE STAT LINE: The 5-foot-11 Reder was a dominating presence in the Wolves' EBAL wins over Granada and Monte Vista. She had 22 kills, 20 digs and two aces against the Matadors and 20 kills and 13 digs against the Mustangs.
DESHAWN JOHNSON, Acalanes, football, Sr. -- Johnson continued his prolific senior campaign, rushing for 265 yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries in a 38-7 win over Dougherty Valley. He has 1,299 yards and 13 TDs this season in helping the Dons to a 6-2 record.
HUFANGAHAU MOALA, Tennyson, football, Sr. -- The defensive tackle had 17 tackles, six tackles for losses, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery inside the Arroyo 10 that led to the go-ahead touchdown in the Lancers' 17-10 victory over Arroyo.
AMY HUANG, Mission San Jose, golf, Jr. -- Huang shot a 1-under 29 at Mission Hills Golf Course in Hayward for medalist honors in the Warriors' 165-199 victory over Moreau Catholic.
KENDALL STUSCAVAGE, College Park, cross country, Sr. -- Stuscavage broke the Castle Rock Park course record when she won the Diablo Valley Athletic League Center Meet No. 2. Stuscavage's time of 21:43 on the 3.2-mile course was 15 seconds better than the previous record.
