Trailing at halftime, Menlo School rallied Tuesday to defeat Sacred Heart Prep 3-1 in girls soccer and remain unbeaten in the West Bay Athletic League's Foothill Division.

Taylor Ruegg's goal 26 minutes into the match gave Sacred Heart Prep (7-2-2, 3-2-2 division) a lead it maintained until Alexandra Walker scored four minutes into the second half.

Sienna Stritter's header gave Menlo School a 2-1 lead in the 64th minute, and Rachel Pinsker's 35-yard blast clinched the win.

Schuyler Tilney-Volk had nine saves for Menlo (7-2-4, 5-0).

Harker 4, Summit Prep 2: Sondra Costa scored two goals to lead Harker (4-1-1 division) to a WBAL Skyline Division victory.

Boys soccer

Leigh 2, Overfelt 1: Andrew Frias scored twice to lead host Leigh (8-5-1, 5-1-1) past Overfelt in a Blossom Valley Athletic League Mount Hamilton Division match. Frias scored one of his goals on a penalty kick.

Branham 2, Leland 0: Cole Elliott had a goal and an assist to propel Branham over host Leland in a BVAL Santa Teresa Division match. Chris Chaboya also scored for Branham, which improved to 6-3-4, 4-1-2. Leland fell to 6-6, 5-2.

Girls basketball

Santa Teresa 46, Piedmont Hills 41: Cassidy Sanders-Curry had 19 points as Santa Teresa (12-6, 6-2) remained atop the BVAL Mount Hamilton Division standings with a victory over visiting Piedmont Hills (11-7, 4-4).

Westmont 46, Branham 41: Westmont had three players score in double figures, led by Erika Washer's 13, as the Warriors defeated Branham in a BVAL Mount Hamilton Division game.

Mercedes Posadas and Savannah Scott each scored 12 points as Westmont improved to 11-7, 4-4.

Taylor Morway scored 18 points and Regina Sankey added 16 for Branham, which dropped to 14-4, 4-4.

Leigh 33, Oak Grove 26: Lauren Holt had 28 points as Leigh (9-9, 4-4) won the BVAL Mount Hamilton Division game.

St. Francis 44, Valley Christian 33: Daisha Abdelkader and Jennifer Lucian had 11 points apiece to lead St. Francis (15-4, 5-2) to a West Catholic Athletic League win.

Milpitas 77, Los Gatos 41: Christian Rita scored 19 points and Marcus Rita had 17 to lead Milpitas over Los Gatos in Santa Clara Valley Athletic League De Anza Division play. Milpitas is 10-8, 3-3.

Los Altos 74, Fremont 71: Joey Malgesini scored 29 points as Los Altos edged Fremont in a battle for first place in the SCVAL El Camino Division. Daniel Rosenbaum added 18 for Los Altos (11-6, 6-0). Fremont fell to 13-5, 5-1.

Santa Clara 66, Lynbrook 22: Tayyab Khan had 15 points and Damont Hardnett added 12 to lift Santa Clara (14-4, 3-3) to an El Camino Division win.

Menlo School 73, Crystal Springs Uplands 35: Jack Heneghan scored 21 points as Menlo School (9-7, 5-1) rolled to a WBAL victory.
