THE STAT LINE: Kennedy was a major factor in a five-game winning streak that elevated the Pirates into second place in the Bay Valley Athletic League standings entering this week. He scored 27 points in a 95-80 win over Deer Valley, then tallied 20 in a 73-65 victory over Heritage.

Jacob Macalolooy

SCHOOL: James Logan

SPORT: Wrestling

YEAR: Senior

WEIGHT DIVISION: 145 pounds

THE STAT LINE: Macalolooy had a 3-0 record in the North Coast Section Division I East Bay dual team tournament, including an 8-2 victory over De La Salle's Jack Walsh to open the championship match, which James Logan won 34-22. Macalolooy, who has a 35-6 record this season, pinned his opponents in his other two tournament matches.

Chelsea Barry

SCHOOL: Monte Vista

SPORT: Soccer

YEAR: Junior

POSITION: Defender/midfielder

THE STAT LINE: Barry, a standout on the back line, scored the winning goal in the 19th minute in the Mustangs' 1-0 triumph over rival San Ramon Valley to clinch an unbeaten East Bay Athletic League season. Barry has four goals and six assists overall this season. Monte Vista improved to 20-0-2 overall and 13-0-1 in the EBAL.

Elayshia Woolridge

SCHOOL: Oakland Tech

SPORT: Basketball

YEAR: Junior

POSITION: Point guard

THE STAT LINE: Woolridge scored a game-high 28 points and also had seven steals, four assists and three rebounds in a 66-55 victory over McClymonds. She also had a team-high 17 points and added five rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 53-52 OT win over Castlemont.

BOYS

PARIS AUSTIN, Bishop O'Dowd, basketball, Jr. -- Austin scored 23 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, in a 99-64 win over Berkeley. He also had 12 points in an 85-50 victory over Mt. Eden.

RYAN DONAT, Campolindo, soccer, Jr. -- Donat scored both of the Cougars goals in a 2-0 win over Dublin that earned them the Diablo Foothill Athletic League championship. Both goals were off set pieces and his first score came just three minutes into the game.

GIRLS

NALLELY PATINO, Albany, wrestling, Jr. -- Patino pinned No. 1 seed Kristina Arteaga of Clayton Valley Charter in the second round to win the 150-pound division championship at the NCS Girls Championships. She was 3-0 in the tournament with three pins. None of the matches progressed to the third round.

JACQUELYN SCHARFF, College Park, soccer, Jr. -- Scharff scored two of the Falcons' three goals in wins over Concord and Clayton Valley Charter that capped a 12-0-0 Diablo Valley Athletic League season. The forward has 17 goals this season.
